explore guided Day tours
Kids belong outside. With our specially designed programs to include all abilities and backgrounds, we build student’s relationships with each other, their environment and themselves. Many studies have shown that children are more attentive, happier, and better behaved after time outside.
We not only guide kids safely in nature, we teach them the skills to go out on their own. Camp craft, cooking, navigation, tides, currents, oceanography, forest ecology, local flora and fauna, First Nations history, conflict resolution, communication, teamwork and leadership are the skills we are working to develop in these programs.
Every student comes home with the confidence to survive….and thrive…in the wilderness and at home.
Participants are expected to cook on the trip, though the food is provided. Camping gear can be rented for a small daily fee if needed.
All trips leave our dock in Sidney,B.C. Other locations available upon request.
